Tony was invited to preach at one of our HIM (Harvesters Inst. of Min - the layman Bible school we pioneered) alumni, Stephen Wanyoike's church. It was almost an hour away but it was so worth it for us to see how he his church has grown and out of this "little" church, he started another 27 churches! He is in his 70s!

Early this month, Tony also preached at Nairobi Pentecostal Church, Parklands. He speaks regularly in this church. This is a strong, dynamic and vibrant church. We always enjoy their services, especially when my favorite preacher is preaching :-))

This time of the year, October/November, the city of Nairobi or Kenya in general, experience a burst of beautiful purple/lavender with the blooming of the jacaranda trees. It is a most beautiful sight. The flowers will fall to the ground, effectively and instantly creating a lush purple carpet on the roads. I need to get some good pictures of that.
I found this picture of a cake of the Malaysian flag that Kathryn took at the banquet celebrating our independance day. I thought I share this as some of you might not know what the Malaysian flag looks like :-)
