Before I forget, I wanted the friends who have left comments on this blog to know that I read your comments as they are automatically sent to my email address. I tried replying to the address in the emails but it doens't get to you - it just redirects me to this blog again. Anyways, I want you to know that I appreciate the comments- tells me someone is reading what I am writing - I wonder sometimes!!
Ok, two evenings ago I had another invite to join an evangelist to Goma, also in DRC. They are doing a crusade there- I cannot tell you how much I want to join them but I can't - not this time anyways. We are in the midst of preparing to return to Malaysia for two months to reconnect with churches and friends who supports our work here and also to give our report. We are also trusting God to connect with more people and churches who are interested in our work here. We need to raise so much more to empower and release more laborers to a ripen harvest in AFrica.
I am so overwhelm with so much to do over the next three weeks before we return home. Please pray with us on the following:
1. Our weekend preaching in different churches and the girls teaching ministry in the Sunday School of 4 and 5 years old.
2. Planning and handing over the Chapel Services, Ladies Ministry and Couples Fellowship for the next three months while we are gone. This means lots of planning meetings with committees...:-(
3. Planning services in Malaysia for the churches who have invited us. We will be ministering in one Missions Conference in Ipoh. We are trusting God to give us a Word for the Body of Christ in Malaysia.
4. Finishing up our chicken project at our orphange. A church donated money to us to build more chicken coops so that this can be a substantial income generating project. We have bought the freezer, building the chicken coops now, and then buying more chicks- layers and broilers, and chicken feed. I need to complete this project and close the accounts and take pictures for the donating church before I return to Malaysia.
5.Look for two raincoats for our Congolese missionary. When I was there, the "poor" missionary was on the motorbike under heavy downpour while I was in the truck. I felt so bad. I promised him I will look for raincoats for him and his worker. I am also looking for "goggles" kinda thing to protect his eyes, so he can see while he is riding! I want to send it to him before I leave for Malaysia.
6.Tony and I feel we must send money to release at least one of the Congolese missionary to the pygmies. We are working on that right now....
Our days are very full and busy with many activities....there are simply too few hours in our days. Please pray for us.
We are looking forward to meeting up with so many friends and family members. Pray also for salvation for our unsaved family members.
