After our missions in Tanzania, I flew back to Nairobi for a few days before I return home. No trip is complete without seeing Lucy and the kids.
It is so good to see Lucy, well and walking without pain.
It was the school holidays so only the orphans are around. Saturday is also cleaning day for the kids, Lots of washing and water! I like the new paint!
The pretty chapel
Some income generating project that the kids are involved in - rabbits farming, chickens and a vegetable farm. They are expecting rains soon!
The toddler being held in this picture is the newest addition. She was left in the cold for at least 24 hours. The police brought her to the home. The other kids enjoy taking care of their new "sister".
A group picture is a must, of course! The kids love having their pictures taken.
It was such a blessing to see Sach preaching to the kids. He can't help himself...haha....fire in his belly!
Selfie time!
Sach in action again. He can't help himself!
You really can't go to Nairobi and not go to the Masai Market. This is where all your hard earned money will go :) So many things to see and buy. Purses, kitchenware, scarves, kangas, shoes, and all things Africa!
I truly think that Africa is the coolest continent - in my next post I will post the safari pictures when we went to the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, Just today, Kathryn was telling me how she was speaking to a visitor to her college about how much she loves Kenya. While I was in Kenya, Vickie asked that I get her a Kenyan jersey. I guess you can take a family out of Africa but you can never take Africa out of the family - at least this one.
