New Building

23 March was a special day for us. The church we pioneered in 1999, River of God church, moved into their new sanctuary! The new sanctuary now can seat over 700 people. You can see how beautiful the new stage is! It is such a wonderful feeling to see this congregation continue to grow after it was handed over to a national pastor. God is good. Some plant, some water but it is God who brings growth! Children presentation - when we started the church most of these kids weren't even born yet! Some were little babies but look at them now!
Talking about growing kids, our girls are such blessing to us. The Sunday that Tony preached, they played a duet of Amazing Grace and Shine Jesus Shine.....we are so bless!

Getting Ready for yet another trip!

Before I forget, I wanted the friends who have left comments on this blog to know that I read your comments as they are automatically sent to my email address. They are doing a crusade there- I cannot tell you how much I want to join them but I can't - not this time anyways. We are in the midst of preparing to return to Malaysia for two months to reconnect with churches and friends who supports our work here and also to give our report. We are also trusting God to connect with more people and churches who are interested in our work here. We need to raise so much more to empower and release more laborers to a ripen harvest in AFrica. ONE YEAR LATER!!! Yes, it's one year later since our return to Malaysia and Max made it and is still with us :-) I cannot believe that it was a year ago since I posted my last entry, and I am finding it even more amazing that we have actually been "home" for a little over a year! I can say that life in Malaysia has been full of suprises and is fast and furious. I was inspired to blog again when I was going through our digital photos and doing some digital decluttering. I was amazed by how much has happened in just a year. So, over the next few days, I am hoping to get you all caught up withn all that has happened the last 12 months and I will try to post as many pictures as I can.....I am not very patient waiting for pictures to upload :-) Max - survived the 24 hour journey and seems to have adapted pretty good to Malaysian life. The Secrets of a Pastor's Marriage

Recently I posted a picture of myself and a beautiful bouquet of flowers,,,,It was one of those special moments in our marriage. I had been feeling pressured with an unending to do list and preparing for a missions trip. I was sharing with Tony how stressed I was before leaving to have a quick dinner with Vickie. When I returned home, Tony suprised me with this beautiful bouquet. He just wanted to bless and encourage me.  Yes, he's sweet and thoughtful and let me just put it out there once and for all, HE IS ALL MINE :) I was surprised by the number of people who liked the post. I suppose many are "curious" what a pastor's marriage look like...is it perfect? Is it easier because both of us are pastors?
