Sorry for going MIA for a week! I think it's the longest gap I had since I started blogging. And I can't even use the excuse that the power went out on me or that the internet is not working :-) Our days have been blessed full with all kinds of activities and not having an office of my own where all my cables are easily accesible is probably the most reasonable excuse for my lack of posting! Anyway, I will try to make up for it with this extra long post!
These are pictures from my ministry time at the Bible College of Malaysia chapel service. Tony and I graduated from this college way back then (don't ask me when...) It was good to be back and be able to share our missionary vision with the students. My interpreter is a Chinese student from mainland China! It was really neat to hear my sermon translated into mandarin.

Tony preaching at GT, Klang during their Sunday Service. Once again, the Lord moved powerfully drawing people to His presence during the altar call. We prayed for the people. Kathryn took the pictures while Vickie went to the Youth Service. After the service, the Pastor and his leaders took us out for lunch at a Chinese restaurant....YUM! Talking about food.....
can you taste these wonderful donuts!!! There is a new donut chain here call Big Apple Donuts and they have all these varieties. The shop usually have a long, long line of customers. We managed to get these donuts at a not so busy time. They were SO SO good!
We took the girls to KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre), also more famously known as the Petronas Twin Towers. There is a Science center in the mall. Tony took the girls to the science center while yours truly......(guess what....) shop...and shop and shop!
Vickie putting her hand inside a "hurricane" thingy to feel the temperature of a hurricane.
Here, Vickie lighted up a light tube She's electricfying!
with a "friendly" dinosaur who moves....
The girls went into a mock up oil refinery and saw how the worker/miners live. This is the bunks. The girls were freaked out by the mannequin on the top bunk! They thought it was a real person.
with Annabelle, their cute cousin. We are so glad to be able to spend time with family.
The girls went for their shots. Vickie had to have 3 separate shots and Kathryn, two. We are so glad to get that over with and they didn't get a fever with their shots either. Praise the Lord!
This was in the centre of the mall where there was an exhibition on the Olympics in Beijing. We continue to be amazed how busy the malls are in Kuala Lumpur. We thought we are the only ones on vacation!! Despite the increased gas and food prices, the malls and restaurant seemed to be continually packed with people!
Tomorrow Tony and I will be at the doctors to sort out a few medical issues, we planned to get our passports renew this week. Next week,we are getting ready for a trip up north to Ipoh for Missions Sunday for two churches. I will post our ministry schedule so you can pray for us!
