In this post, I want to share with you the people whom we share our lives with the 17 years we were in Kenya. Some of them are church members, many are our missionary family - people who are aunts and uncles to our girls, some are new friends we met in our more recent trips. Our lives are so blessed and enriched by all these special ones. We have fellowshipped and spend time with many others not featured in this blog, If your picture is not shown here, please know that our time with you is just as special,    I just don't have the pictures to show for it :)  It might be in one of many other devices that I have not sync yet!   We were invited to have supper with Jon and Molly and their parents. Jon's parents, whom many call Papa and Mama Stern are our spiritual mentors.  Mama Stern is third from the left, continue the ministry that Papa Stern left behind when he passed away. We left for Kenya end of January for a month long missions trip. We were beyond excited as this is our first trip back as a couple since we life in June 2009. We were looking forward to meeting with missionaries, friends, and church members and the ministries that we will be part of during our time in Kenya. These are some of the pictures and special moments we had that I thought might interest my friends who read this blog :) Tony preached both services at Nairobi Christian Centre, the church of the General Superintendent of Kenya. Kathryn was dedicated as a baby in this church! We also met several bible school students who had studied with us in the layman bible school we started way back in 1993. It was such a special moment when they came up to greet us after all these years. We had a great visit with Lucy and David, the directors of the orphanage. I think this is actually my first "haul" post ever. In our not so recent trip to Bangkok, I bought a few thngs and have really enjoyed using them. I thought I might share them with you. I visited the huge Naraya store at Central Mall. They are like the Vera Bradley fabric bags but at way more affordable prices. I saw this pretty animal pattern and could not resist. I bought this tote for myself and have been using it as a bag for my planner/stationery supplies. It has many pockets, and is so good to have everything organised. I love it!    I found these cute roller stamps with phrases on them and the chalk ink stamps. I haven't seen these kind of roller stamps back in Kuala Lumpur and thought they were a nice collection to my stash. I am thinking of doing a post on how I use my planner and my latest hobby of listing in a future post. Tony and I ministered in the Missions Weekend at Hope of Glory Church. Pas Khor and his wife, Chin Nee has become good friends over the years since our return to Malaysia.  They are such encouraging and affirming friends and we were so blessed to speak in their missions conference. I spoke twice on Saturday and Tony ministered in the evening service and both services on Sunday. It is so encouraging and inspiring to see the congregation response at the altar. We had to leave immediately after the second service on Sunday to get to the airport to Bangkok. Tony had to be at meetings the next day. It was great that it was a Sunday and traffic was great. We made it in good time to airport and on the way to Bangkok. Tony had not been to Bangkok for more than 20 years! I was there 5 years ago but lots has changed since then. Tony will be speaking in a pastors conference next year in June in Bangkok and he joined the planning committee in checking out the facitilie...
