To blog or not to blog is the question....

I was wondering if I should keep this blog when we relocate to Malaysia??? I know that our friends in Malaysia and elsewhere are interested about our lives in Kenya but Malaysia??? I am not sure... I am thinking about it... write me a comment if you think I should keep it up!!

Some random pics....
This is Max longing for his daddy. He did this the entire time that Tony was in Malaysia..
poor baby! He loves Tony!

Awwww......(the girls' favorite expression!)

Kat took some pictures around campus....pretty eh?

This huge pine tree is on our front yard.

This is one of Vickie's teachers. The middle school was raising funds for some social projects and he challenged them if they raised a certain amount he would shaved off his beard and if they raised even more money, he would shave his hair as well! Brave man and they did raised the funds!! Too bad I didn't get the 'after' picture!
Vickie is on the far left, as a stage hand during one of their drama production. She is sweeping the floor between sets with a mop!!They couldn't find a broom~ it was an unexpected mess -(
There were herds and herds of cows around our property due to the drought...often they cause traffic jams! and the roads are littered with cow poop...africa is so......organic...i love it!
Our patient is healing and resting and getting very spoilt! She was waited on hands and foot!

See that cheeky smile? She's milking it...

Roger and Shireen Wests...our very special and close friends since we came to Kenya. They have been here either as long as we have been or longer. They have an incredible ministry all over Kenya, Congo, Sudan, and Europe. They are both evangelists and are anointed of the Lord. We were so happy that we were able to throw a suprise birthday celebration for Shireen. We love this family!

Selfishly, I would love for you to continue blogging because that keeps me in the loop with you guys. How about blogging through the initial months of your time at GT Klang and reevaluate from there. Just my two cents . . .

Getting Ready for yet another trip!

Before I forget, I wanted the friends who have left comments on this blog to know that I read your comments as they are automatically sent to my email address. I tried replying to the address in the emails but it doens't get to you - it just redirects me to this blog again. Anyways, I want you to know that I appreciate the comments- tells me someone is reading what I am writing - I wonder sometimes!! Ok, two evenings ago I had another invite to join an evangelist to Goma, also in DRC. They are doing a crusade there- I cannot tell you how much I want to join them but I can't - not this time anyways. We are in the midst of preparing to return to Malaysia for two months to reconnect with churches and friends who supports our work here and also to give our report. We are also trusting God to connect with more people and churches who are interested in our work here. We need to raise so much more to empower and release more laborers to a ripen harvest in AFrica. I am so overwhelm wit...
ONE YEAR LATER!!! Yes, it's one year later since our return to Malaysia and Max made it and is still with us :-) I cannot believe that it was a year ago since I posted my last entry, and I am finding it even more amazing that we have actually been "home" for a little over a year! I can say that life in Malaysia has been full of suprises and is fast and furious. I was inspired to blog again when I was going through our digital photos and doing some digital decluttering. I was amazed by how much has happened in just a year. So, over the next few days, I am hoping to get you all caught up withn all that has happened the last 12 months and I will try to post as many pictures as I can.....I am not very patient waiting for pictures to upload :-) Max - survived the 24 hour journey and seems to have adapted pretty good to Malaysian life. We are so glad we brought him with us! Reunited with their youngest cousins ... Annabelle and Isaac. I think they will featured q...

The Secrets of a Pastor's Marriage

Recently I posted a picture of myself and a beautiful bouquet of flowers,,,,It was one of those special moments in our marriage. I had been feeling pressured with an unending to do list and preparing for a missions trip. I was sharing with Tony how stressed I was before leaving to have a quick dinner with Vickie. When I returned home, Tony suprised me with this beautiful bouquet. He just wanted to bless and encourage me.  Yes, he's sweet and thoughtful and let me just put it out there once and for all, HE IS ALL MINE :) I was surprised by the number of people who liked the post. I suppose many are "curious" what a pastor's marriage look like...is it perfect? Is it easier because both of us are pastors? I thought I share a few pictures and thoughts on the subject.   Firstly, our marriage is not perfect - it's just like yours - there are always up and downs, the good and the bad, the happy and the sad, the sweet and sour! In many ways, a ministers...
