Bangkok Haul

I think this is actually my first "haul" post ever. In our not so recent trip to Bangkok, I bought a few thngs and have really enjoyed using them. I thought I might share them with you. I visited the huge Naraya store at Central Mall. They are like the Vera Bradley fabric bags but at way more affordable prices. I saw this pretty animal pattern and could not resist. I bought this tote for myself and have been using it as a bag for my planner/stationery supplies. It has many pockets, and is so good to have everything organised. I love it!    I found these cute roller stamps with phrases on them and the chalk ink stamps. I haven't seen these kind of roller stamps back in Kuala Lumpur and thought they were a nice collection to my stash. I am thinking of doing a post on how I use my planner and my latest hobby of listing in a future post. Sorry for the blurry photo but this is probably my favorite purchase this trip.  It is a bag insert, also from ...

Missions Seminar and Bangkok

Tony and I ministered in the Missions Weekend at Hope of Glory Church. Pas Khor and his wife, Chin Nee has become good friends over the years since our return to Malaysia.  They are such encouraging and affirming friends and we were so blessed to speak in their missions conference. I spoke twice on Saturday and Tony ministered in the evening service and both services on Sunday. It is so encouraging and inspiring to see the congregation response at the altar. We had to leave immediately after the second service on Sunday to get to the airport to Bangkok. Tony had to be at meetings the next day. It was great that it was a Sunday and traffic was great. We made it in good time to airport and on the way to Bangkok. Tony had not been to Bangkok for more than 20 years! I was there 5 years ago but lots has changed since then. Tony will be speaking in a pastors conference next year in June in Bangkok and he joined the planning committee in checking out the facitilie...

2015 UPDATE

I cannot even believe that I had not blogged at all this year. One of the reasons I think is because I do update my facebook regularly and I do kind of document my life on facebook. I have to admit I miss blogging, especially when I read my older post. It serves as a personal diary for me and brought back so many memories. I know its almost the end of 2015 but hey, better late than never! Catching up from my last post in 2014, we talked about a crisis we had with Vickie. She wrote about it  here, in her blog.  It was a growing time, especially for her. Since then we had settled her in her college life in America. And since then we had another  "crisis" this summer which I will do a separate blog post on. This child does keep her mama on her knees a lot!! Our yera ended with a BIG bang!! We went on a paid holiday to  Disneyland  in California on our way to Springfield, where the girls' college is. Kathryn flew in to join us and we spent two we...
